7 Elephants was born in 2020, during a time when a husband and wife simply wanted to share the food they missed from home.
Our chef, Anurak “Yok” Masayavanich, grew up in the old quarter of Bangkok, surrounded by the scents of street food and family kitchens. Though he became a licensed veterinarian in Thailand, his true calling was always in the kitchen, a passion shaped by his Teochew Chinese roots, time spent living in China and Vietnam, and the joy he found in cooking for those he loved.
He later learned professional techniques at a cooking school in Bangkok, building on the flavors and skills he grew up with.
Every dish we serve is a piece of that journey, bold Thai flavors, made with care and meant to be shared 🙂
